The grapes are 100% sourced from Monte Schiavo's own sustainable vineyards situated in the communes of Maiolati Spontini, Montecarotto, Poggio S. Marcello and Rosora - at an altitude of 180-360 metres above sea level. The Verdicchio vines are double guyot trained and yield around 11,000 kg per hectare. From the 2019 vintage onwards, Monte Schiavo is fully certified organic, and all the wines will be labelled accordingly.
Fresh citrus and peachy aromas with hints of passion fruit. The palate has abundant pineapple and tropical fruit characters, balanced by zesty acidity and a ripe yet crisp finish.
Food match: perfect with shellfish and fish dishes but can withstand a creamy sauce and even chicken.
